Nadia's perspective on education is anything but conventional — and that's exactly its strength. Her career has spanned corporate leadership, training and coaching, including years spent developing leadership programmes and helping educators become better versions of themselves and understand their learners more deeply.
She was previously head of School Is Easy Dubai, the city's branch of the international tutoring service, where she saw first-hand how much families benefit from coordinated, individual support — the insight that would later become Illumina.
Earlier in her career, she served as a Combat Engineer and Senior Commander with the Canadian Armed Forces — an experience that taught her how to equip people with the tools to succeed under pressure, in any circumstances.
It's a rare combination: the discipline and clarity of military command, the people-skills of a coach, and the empathy of a parent who has navigated the same challenges. Together they shape how Illumina supports every family.
